Miscellaneous Sunday services between Series
Weeding the Garden – Join us this week to learn how to plant only the seeds of wisdom and knowledge in your thoughts of who you came here to be because those are the ones you want to manifest.
Weeding the Garden – The service this week is an encore service: Weeding the Garden. Can you imagine your life if you truly believed in EVERY moment that all of the Divine was within you – that you had the capacity to live in joy and in abundance at ALL times rather than to struggle through daily life? Imagine if you planted seeds of this knowing within your own life, and weeded out any seeds that did not support the seeds of wisdom and knowledge of who you have come here to be! When fear arises, remember you are fashioned from the stuff of the invisible.
As Ernest Holmes tells us in 365 Science of Mind,
“Your place in life is to become an outlet for Spirit’s wisdom, intelligence, love, beauty and creativeness. … Since you are fashioned from the stuff of the invisible, It’s nature is incarnated in you.”
Enjoy the music of our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Easter Sunday: Be Okay with Everything – Join us this week for our Easter Service: Be Okay with Everything, embracing all of what life brings to us and emptying the old to make space for the new.
Easter 2024 Service – Be Okay with Everything – It’s Easter Sunday and today’s message is “Be Okay with Everything.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, reminds you of the events of Holy Week and how Jesus demonstrated that he was indeed OKAY with everything. We take a moment to reflect on how to increase our Christ Consciousness through committing to quiet ourself daily and listen to the voice of the Divine helping us to embrace spiritual transformation.
In its most basic sense, to “Be Okay with Everything” means embracing all of what life brings to us and emptying the old to make space for the new. As Ernest Holmes tells us in “Spiritual Awareness”:
“Jesus spoke of the joy which he had and which he desired us to have, that our joy might be full. There is music at the center of everything. The melody is real. We must uncover the song and permit it to saturate our souls with joy.”
Enjoy the music of Gray Lynn Floyd, Karen Drucker, and our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

The Real Game of Life – Learn how to focus on what you really want from life. Our guest speaker, Rev. Larry King, a fabulous minister from Oregon, and an experienced speaker and process leader, encourages you to cultivate knowing yourself, to remember to see life more like a game than a struggle and to perceive life as positive. With all the ideas we might have for improving our own lives and perhaps even the world, Rev. Larry asks us what mental and physical preparations we have made to accept our good. He challenges us to write a couple things we want to improve and follow through with preparing to receive our good.
Florence Scovel Shinn, in “The Game of Life” provided some rules about life to remember:
“Life responds to our thinking and our beliefs. If we want clear responses we have to have clean inputs. We need to remove thoughts and ideas that are counter to our desired outcome.”

The Real Game of Life- Message Only Listen as Rev. Larry King, the “other Rev. Larry”, a fabulous minister from Oregon provides a message on “The Real Game of Life,” based on a book by Florence Scovel Shinn. His message is about preparing for what we want both mentally and physically. Rev Larry reminds us to quit focusing on what we don’t want and figure out what we do want in our lives in 2024. As Francis Scovel Shinn wrote:
“Most people consider life a battle — but it is not a battle, it is a game. It is a game, however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual law.”
Imagine what your life and the world might look like if we took time to make mental and spiritual preparations to accept our good!

Echoes of the Past! – Message Only Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, provides a message which focuses on how the past might be getting in the way of you claiming your own magnificence. She invites you to know that each day you start with a clean slate and you can choose to embrace your own unique self rather than hiding in the shadows of other people’s beliefs and ideas. Ernest Holmes tells us:
The mind is a magnet and we attract that with which we identify the self. In order to get the most out of life we must learn consciously to change many of our habitual thought patterns. This is not easy, for our old thought patterns cling to us with great tenacity, but, being thought patterns, they can be reversed. If you are filled with fear, refill yourself with faith, for faith always overcomes fear.
Imagine how you might live your life in 2024 if you chose to embrace your own powerful ideas, pouring those powerful ideas into your own mold of creativity.
